This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS; market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The type of solicitation to issue will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or follow up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract. This project consists of routine trash service for Forest Service trailheads and work centers located remotely on the South Platte Ranger District. The work shall include picking up garbage at the following work centers and trailheads located along the Rampart Range Road: Buffalo Creek Work Center; Indian Creek Work Center; Rampart Entrance Parking; Milepost 1.5 Trailhead; Sunset Point Trailhead; Flat Rocks Trailhead; Dutch Fred Trailhead; and Devils Head. (Note: Government furnished, 2 yard, rear loading dumpsters and 3 yard bear-proof dumpsters will be provided).
