South San Francisco Terminal Dredging

The contract entails performing maintenance dredging at the South San Francisco Ferry Terminal, with an option for additional dredging at Oyster Point Marina Dock 11 and Guest Dock. The scope of work includes disconnecting, removing, storing, and protecting the existing ferry loading float and temporarily supporting the permanent gangway using existing piles according to provided technical guidelines. The permanent ferry loading gangway and float will be transported to a designated berthing location within the South San Francisco Facility. Sediment dredged from the site must be disposed of at specified Army Corps of Engineers-approved sites, including Disposal in Bay (SF-11), Cullinan Ranch, or Montezuma. All work is to be completed within a defined period from June 1, 2026, through November 30, 2026. The contractor is required to submit a detailed schedule with their bid. After dredging, the permanent gangway and ferry float system will be reinstalled, and all utilities disconnected by the contractor will be reconnected, restored, and inspected. The project also includes hydrographic surveys conducted before and after the dredging, as well as condition surveys, to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
