On 30 Sep 2015, Caprock Government Solutions, Inc., 2235 Monroe St., Suite 500, Herndon, VA, 20171-2824 was awarded a sole source, non-competitive, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract modification for the definitization of a previously approved Undefinitized Contract Action (UCA). The requirement is to provide dark fiber, equipment, and commercial facilities to support Department of Defense (DOD) users in the Continental United States (CONUS). The requirement includes: installation, integration, and testing of Optical Line Amplifier (OLA) equipment, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support in commercial fiber facilities, end-to-end transmission and professional support services inclusive of Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) diversity and resiliency capabilities, system integration, and system upgrades. The face value of this definitization modification is $48,958,064.48, funded by FY15 Defense Working Capital Funds (DWCF). The total cumulative face value of the contract is $50,283,956.
