Southwest Resource Management Association (SRMA) Conservation Lands Restoration and Maintenance Program(Lake or Streambed Alteration, No. EPIMS-RIV-59031-R6

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has authorized Southwest Resource Management Association, represented by Shelli Lamb, to conduct habitat enhancement, restoration, creation, and conservation activities under Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS-RIV-59031-R6, issued pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code. This authorization permits work on both private and public lands, as well as conservation easements held by SRMA, across multiple watersheds within California’s Inland Deserts region. The project focuses on improving native buffers and other ecologically significant lands to support biodiversity and watershed health. The agreement is part of SRMA’s broader Conservation Lands Restoration and Maintenance Program, with environmental oversight provided by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Region 6 – Inland Deserts, based in Ontario. Kelly Connor serves as the primary point of contact for the agency, while Shelli Lamb, Chief Executive Officer of SRMA, is the permittee representative. The agreement was posted on June 29, 2026, and activities are expected to occur within designated conservation areas under SRMA’s stewardship, with all work subject to compliance with state regulations governing streambed and lake alterations.
