The Space Control Depot Support II (SCDS II) effort involves an Industry Day hosted by the Space and Missile Systems Center’s Space Superiority Systems Directorate to discuss development planning for follow-on depot, sustainment, production, and upgrade support services related to space control, space test and training range, and other classified programs. The event, held at a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information level, included a general briefing and optional one-on-one sessions focused on communicating capability needs and engaging interested participants to clarify aspects of the program. Registration was mandatory for both general attendance and one-on-one sessions, with attendees required to hold U.S. citizenship and current TS/SCI security clearance. Companies participating in the one-on-one sessions were expected to provide a Statement of Capability briefing addressing specific information sought, including feedback on the draft Performance Work Statement, identification of risks, and planning for transition from the incumbent contractor. This request for information does not constitute a solicitation but seeks input and planning data from potential contractors, emphasizing integrated team capability without government facilitation of partnerships and encouraging small business participation under NAICS code 541330 with a small business size standard of $38.5 million. All proprietary information submitted will be safeguarded according to regulations, though respondents were advised that responses would be shared with government support contractors unless explicitly restricted. The Industry Day was held at El Segundo, CA, with strict security and registration protocols, and responses to this RFI would inform future acquisition decisions without obligating the government to contract. Points of contact included a contracting officer, contract specialist, and technical representative for inquiries.
