This notice is not a Request for Quote, Request for Proposal, or an Invitation for Bid. The intent of this synopsis is to provide notice of a proposed contract action.
This is a notice of intent to issue a firm, fixed price commercial purchase order to Space Data Association Limited located at AEGIR, Croit E Quill Road, Laxey, IM4 7JJ, United Kingdom. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code “518210-Computing Infrastructure Providers, Data Processing, Web Hosting, and Related Services” with a small business size standard of $40,000,000.00.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS), Office of Satellite and Product Operations (OSPO) Mission Operations Division (MOD) has a requirement for membership to the Space Data Association (SDA) with a period of performance of July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. Specifically, the Government needs the SDA Membership Subscription Renewal. The place of performance for this requirement is NOAA Satellite Operations Facility (NSOF) located in Suitland, MD.

A determination by the Government not to conduct a competitive acquisition based on potential submissions to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any documentation submitted in response to this notice is strictly voluntary. Therefore, the Government: 1) will not pay for any vendor work or documentation submitted in response to this notice; and, 2) will not award a contract solely based on documentation submitted in response to this notice.
