Duncanville Independent School District (DISD) has issued a multi-award Request for Proposal (RFP MS-25-26.008) seeking vendors to supply Special Education supplies, equipment, and related services for the 2025-2026 school year, with the possibility of extending the contract through the 2028-2029 school year by mutual agreement. This solicitation is designed to comply with State Purchasing Laws and competitive procurement requirements by creating an approved catalog of vendors from which district employees may make on-demand purchases. Multiple vendors will be selected throughout the solicitation period based on their submitted proposals, and all proposals must include pricing that covers all shipping and handling charges, with delivery terms generally specified as F.O.B. Destination unless otherwise noted or negotiated. The district reserves the right to postpone deadlines, reject any and all proposals, and award contracts that best serve its interests. Vendors interested in doing business with DISD must respond fully to the RFP, which aims to establish a broad list of suppliers capable of meeting diverse needs in special education products and services. The solicitation specifies that vendors must submit competitive discount pricing inclusive of shipping costs and comply with all state procurement laws. Although formal federal acquisition clauses or socioeconomic set-aside criteria are not specified, the district emphasizes vendor accountability and adherence to proposal requirements. The contract structure implies an indefinite-delivery nature, permitting DISD to procure as needed over the contract term from any awarded vendor lists without guaranteed purchase volumes. While detailed evaluation criteria and contract values are not disclosed, the solicitation highlights the district’s discretion in vendor selection based on overall advantage. No formal attachments or federal procurement clauses are indicated in the solicitation, and the district encourages complete and compliant submissions to ensure vendor eligibility and potential award.
