Sports and Recreation Tourism Strategic Study

Richland County is soliciting proposals under solicitation number RC-821-P-26 for a Sports and Recreation Tourism Strategic Study. The objective is to identify the county's potential to attract and capitalize on sports, indoor and outdoor recreation, and leisure tourism to drive economic development. The selected firm will be responsible for determining the feasibility of self-sustaining sports tourism venues and creating a strategic roadmap and implementation strategy that prioritizes investments based on economic impact and alignment with county goals. Successful suppliers must maintain comprehensive insurance, including Commercial General Liability of at least 2 million dollars per occurrence and Professional Liability of 1 million dollars per claim. Payment is processed on Net 30 terms following the submission of detailed invoices. The agreement includes a 30-day termination for convenience clause and requires compliance with various federal and state regulations, including the Drug-Free Workplace Act, E-Verify, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. All deliverables are subject to county inspection and must be guaranteed for at least one year following final acceptance.
