SPRING, HELICAL, COMPRESSION

This contract is for the procurement of six helical compression springs identified by NSN 5360-01-382-2579 and part number SW134-6, manufactured by Emerson Automation Solutions. The item is classified as a critical application component and must comply with stringent technical and quality standards incorporated by reference from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements. Supply chain traceability documentation must be retained by the contractor in accordance with DLA Directive Procurement Note C03 from August 2016. The use of ozone-depleting chemicals is strictly prohibited, and mercury or mercury-containing compounds are banned except in specific authorized applications such as certain batteries, fluorescent lights, and instrument components, which must meet additional containment and safety requirements per NAVSEA 5100-003D.
