The springs must comply with all technical and quality requirements referenced in the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, and all hardware furnished must adhere to the current standard as of the solicitation date. Sampling and inspection follow MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 with zero non-conformances required unless otherwise stated, and critical, major, and minor attributes are assigned verification levels VII, IV, and II or AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0 respectively. Mercury and mercury-containing compounds are strictly prohibited in the hardware, preservation, packaging, and marking except for specified functional uses in batteries, instruments, or weapon systems under strict containment requirements per NAVSEA 5100-003D.
