AI Contract Overview
This solicitation, numbered SPRRA1-26-R-0064, is a Request for Proposal issued by the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, to procure specific parts identified by National Stock Numbers in support of the CH-47 Chinook helicopter system. The acquisition is structured as a one-time buy under the existing Basic Ordering Agreement contracts SPE4A1-25-G-0008 through SPE4A1-25-G-0011, and all proposals must adhere to the terms and conditions of those agreements. The government is seeking the best pricing and delivery terms for the requested items, with an emphasis on competitive offers and compliance with required lead times and packaging specifications, which are detailed in attached documentation not fully provided. Delivery is required at Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, and compliance with Item Unique Identification (IUID) marking standards is mandatory for traceability. The solicitation explicitly requires submission of Certified Cost and Pricing Data for any non-commercial items exceeding the $10,000,000 threshold, indicating the potential scale of the procurement, though the total estimated value is not disclosed. Proposals must be submitted in writing no later than close of business on August 24, 2026, with Justin Taylor serving as the sole point of contact for all communications. The acquisition is open to all bidders with no set-aside provisions, and while evaluation factors are not formally defined, award will be based on pricing, delivery capability, and compliance with technical and logistical requirements including production lot testing, contractor inspection, and specific packaging and marking standards. No formal contract type is specified, but the use of a BOA suggests the final award will be executed as a delivery order modification.
