SR-1 Pavement Replacement – Newland St to Goldenwest S

This project proposes to cold plane and replace 0.15’ of existing pavement with new Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt (RHMA) on Route 1 between Newland St to Beach Blvd (Route 39) and 0.10’ of existing pavement with new Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt (RHMA) between Beach Blvd (Route 39) to Goldenwest St, in the City of Huntington Beach (PM 23.2/25.9). Proposed work also includes the replacement of existing loop detectors and traffic delineation affected by the cold plane. No ground disturbance will occur, all work will occur within the paved travel way within Caltrans Right of Way, and the project is State funded only.
