SS4A COMPREHENSIVE SAFETY ACTION PLAN

The City of Palm Springs is soliciting proposals for the development of a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan under RFP 26-06 to enhance safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists while improving citywide connectivity and updating its Traffic Calming Program. A pass/fail threshold for experience and financial responsibility acts as a disqualification criterion, and top-ranked offerors may receive up to 25 additional points through optional interviews. The procurement follows a trade-off methodology, prioritizing technical merit over price, with the City retaining the right to select a higher-cost proposer for superior quality and to negotiate terms post-award.
