The contractor shall incorporate the SSI Increment 4 Mod 8/9 design packages and transition them for the FS/SDS SSBN Replacement (SSBN-R) Program Requirements Development Phase. The contractor shall assess the scope that was planned to transition from SSI Increments 7 and 13 to the SP23 FCS/SDA SSBN-R Program. The contractor shall refine the concept of the Ship Date System (SSDS) Architecture/Trades supporting the transition of SSI Increment 10 scope into the SP23 FCS/SDS SSBN-R Program. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) Pittsfield MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturing of the Trident II D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
