AI Contract Overview
The contract pertains to the procurement of seven units of a Stadimeter, identified by NSN 6605011688508 and part number 9240-035 from CARP INDUSTRIES CORP, classified as a commercial off-the-shelf item. Delivery is required within 164 days with an original delivery date of December 17, 2026, and a need ship date of October 13, 2026, under FOB Origin terms, meaning title and risk transfer at the contractor’s shipping point. The item must be delivered to the designated destination at Tracy, California, where both inspection and acceptance occur. Packaging must strictly comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E using packaging code U, unit and intermediate containers designated as E5, corrosion-inhibiting wrap material, dry preservation method, and no preservation material. Marking must adhere to MIL-STD-129 with the special fragile marking code 01-01 and barcoding on all containers. Mercury or mercury-containing compounds are prohibited in packaging, preservation, and labeling unless functionally required in specific applications like batteries, instruments, or weapon systems, in which case they must include a secondary containment per NAVSEA 5100-003D. Sampling and quality assurance shall follow MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 with zero non-conformances required in sample lots unless otherwise specified, with critical, major, and minor attributes assigned verification levels VII, IV, and II or AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0 respectively. The contract incorporates federal acquisition regulations including clauses for cybersecurity safeguarding, trafficking in persons, employment eligibility verification, sustainable products, mercury prohibition, and DoD-specific requirements for whistleblower rights, information disclosure, and NIST SP 800-171 compliance. Offerors must maintain active SAM registration, provide their UEI and CAGE code, and comply with all socioeconomic and size status representations. Payment must be processed via WAWF, and no alternative invoicing methods are permitted. The contract value for the seven units is listed at $7.00 per unit for a total of $49.00, though this appears inconsistent with historical pricing data, suggesting possible placeholder or incomplete pricing. Hazardous materials, if any, must be labeled per 29 CFR 19
