REQUIREMENT
Parks Canada Agency (PCA) requires an experienced contractor to conduct repairs and reconstruction of an existing fire suppression system(s) in two (2) buildings within Jasper National Park. This work involves decommissioning of an existing glycol system situated within the attic and porches of the Jasper Information Centre and replacing it with a dry system as well as increased coverage within interior portions of the building to meet the requirements of Hazard Occupancy. Additionally, the Maintenance Compound consists of full-scale replacement and expansion of the wet and dry systems due to aging components and to address changes in Hazard Occupancy. The work in the tender package involves fire suppression system, alarm panel retrofitting and general contracting tasks. The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work no later than December 21, 2023.
TWO STAGE SELECTION PROCESS
This posting is the Stage Two of a two-stage solicitation process: the first stage was to evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers. The second stage (Stage Two) is to invite the qualified suppliers to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Only qualified suppliers have been invited to bid.
