5P468-23-0125/B Stage 2 - Boreal Trail, Bridges and Boardwalk Construction, Riding Mountain National Park This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number 5P468-23-0125/A dated 2023-08-09 with a closing of 2023-08-31 at 2:00 PM (MDT). A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation. REQUIREMENT PCA requires the reconstruction of a granular wilderness trail and construction and installation of a 145-metre boardwalk with gathering node, as well as construction and installation of two pedestrian bridges over Jackfish Creek, each spanning 12 metres. This will entail removal and adjustment of existing wood piles, clearing and grubbing of vegetation and organic matter, rough grading, rip rap installation, granular trail and seating area construction, construction of low gabion basket retaining walls, installation of new benches and picnic tables, construction of helical pile-supported concrete abutment structures for the two crossings, final design and installation of helical piles for boardwalks and crossings, fabrication and installation of the bridges and boardwalk, and restoration seeding for areas disturbed by the work. TWO STAGE SELECTION PROCESS This posting is the Stage Two of a two-stage solicitation process: the first stage was to evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers. The second stage (Stage Two) is to invite the qualified suppliers to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Only qualified suppliers have been invited to bid.
