Parks Canada Agency is seeking a qualified contractor for the interim rehabilitation of the H.J. Moberly Bridge located in Jasper National Park, Alberta, due to the bridge reaching the end of its service life. Although the bridge is slated for replacement, this contract focuses solely on interim repairs, including strengthening the two end floor beams at each main truss span on both sides, replacing the top timber decking and sidewalk deck timber at specified locations, and managing traffic primarily through a Single Lane Alternating Traffic (SLAT) system during construction hours. The project aims to maintain the bridge's safety and functionality until its eventual replacement. This solicitation is the second stage of a two-stage process, where only qualified suppliers from the first stage have been invited to submit financial bids based on detailed specifications and drawings. The deadline for bid submission is January 20, 2026. Sub-contractors interested in collaborating are encouraged to list their company under the “Partner with another business” section. The contracting authority for this project is Alison Guilford, and the opportunity is managed by Parks Canada Agency under the Government of Canada, with performance located in Alberta.
