REISSUE OF BID SOLICITATION
This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number 5P468-23-0257/A dated February 16, 2024 with a closing of March 05, 2024 at 2:00 PM MST. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.
REQUIREMENT
Parks Canada requires the replacement of the Walker Bridge over the Frenchman River located in Grasslands National Park in the Province of Saskatchewan. Work includes the maintenance of an existing temporary detour utilizing the existing bridge and road, construction of new concrete and steel short-span bridge, re-alignment of the gravel grid road to new bridge, demolition and environmentally friendly disposal of the existing timber bridge and road access, and site restoration. This bridge is located near a working ranch.
This bridge & road are located in areas of critical habitat for multiple species at risk, and some portions of the work are under an Emergency Protection Order for Sage Grouse. This area is also rich in archaeological finds. Mitigations will be included to minimize both environmental and archaeological impacts.
Work on this Project is required to be completed by November 30, 2024. The site will be made available to the Contractor in mid-July 2024.
TWO STAGE SELECTION PROCESS
This posting is the Stage Two of a two-stage solicitation process: the first stage was to evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers. The second stage (Stage Two) is to invite the qualified suppliers to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings.
Only qualified suppliers have been invited to bid.
