The University of Texas at Austin (“University”) on behalf of Planning, Design and Construction (PDC) requests bids in response to this Invitation to Bid no. 721-27003 (“ITB”) from qualified and experienced vendors (“Bidders”) to upgrade four (04) fire doors and replacing the existing pairs of doors at FAC Stairwell 1 (“Goods”). Work will be performed at Peter T. Flawn Academic Center (FAC), located at 2304 Whitis Ave, Austin, TX 78712.The Materials, which are more specifically described in the Scope of Work (“SOW”), include (but may not be limited to): • Replacement existing pairs of doors with new 90-minute rated doors.• All hardware is to be supplied and installed by contractor.• Demolition and removal of existing doors and hardware.
