All items must comply with the current revision of the referenced part standard, and previously manufactured hardware conforming to earlier but then-current revisions remains acceptable. The item is classified as a critical application with strict configuration control, requiring formal engineering change proposals for any variance. Ozone-depleting chemicals are strictly prohibited, and any substitute chemicals must be approved unless explicitly authorized by the specification. The component must be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-130N for U.S. military property identification, and all packaging must adhere to MIL-STD-129 labeling standards with commercial packaging under ASTM D3951 unless hazardous per FED-STD-313, in which case TQ requirement IP025 applies.
