Tobyhanna Army Depot is seeking information from commercial manufacturers capable of producing stator cores for small outrunner brushless DC motors used in small Unmanned Aircraft Systems, with a requirement for scalable production capacity of up to 40,000 units per month. The stator cores must meet precise technical specifications including a diameter of 22 to 35 millimeters, a height of 6 to 20 millimeters, and a 12-coil-node design constructed from stacked and bonded laminations with epoxy powder coat insulation to prevent grounding and ensure environmental durability. All materials used in production must be sourced exclusively from countries other than China, Russia, Iran, or North Korea, and this restriction must flow down to all subcontractors.
