Full Description

The Contractor shall provide all management, labor, supervision, vehicles, equipment, and materials to perform tours, basic operation, preventative maintenance, housekeeping, and minor repair and replacement of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems and equipment in the manholes, vaults, tunnels, sumps, and building steam stations (excluding tours of building steam stations) of the Heating Operation and Transmission District (HOTD) Steam Distribution Complex (SDC) in Washington, DC. The Contractor shall be fully responsible for providing and accomplishing the required services as outlined in this performance solicitation. A firm fixed-price type contract will be awarded from this solicitation. In addition, from time to time, the Government will issue delivery orders under this contract for additional services. The initial award will be for a one-year period, with options for four additional one-year extensions. The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), (WPSAF) has a need for Steam Distribution services in the Washington, DC. The government anticipates awarding a single, 5-year contract, consisting of one (1) 12-month base year and four (4) consecutive option years as a result of the upcoming Request for Proposal (RFP). THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The applicable North America Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 221330 and the size limit standard is $12.5 million.
