This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This competition is set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 339113, Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing, with a size standard of 750 employees. This solicitation incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect in Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-05 dated 16 February 2021 and Defense Publication Notice 20190628 dated 15 January 2021. The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) has a requirement for 3 (three) Steris AMSCO 250LS Small Steam Sterilizer 20�x20�x38�, 3 (three) Loading Rack & Two Shelves- 20�X20�X38� Sterilizer for Single Door Unit Only, and 3 (three) Start-Up Services.
