Street Sweeping Services

The Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids for street sweeping services for a two-year period, with a project estimate of $1,564,250.00. The selected contractor will be responsible for sweeping designated county roadways and impervious surfaces, including parking lots and paved shoulders. The scope of work is divided into standard sweeping for arterial and collector roads once per month, local roads twice per year between March and December, and select sweeping for leaf debris between January and February. Additionally, the contractor must provide emergency response services within two hours of notification for urgent cleanups. Bids must be submitted via the Euna Procurement system by September 25, 2026. The award will be granted to a single, responsive, and responsible bidder who provides the lowest price for all line items. Key requirements include maintaining at least one FDOT-certified employee in Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic and adhering to MUTCD, FDOT, and OSHA safety guidelines. Contractors must also meet comprehensive insurance mandates covering general, automobile, professional, cyber, and pollution liability, and certify compliance with drug-free workplace standards. Payment will be processed via ACH direct deposit.
