Full Description

This project helps improve IPS, a program that supports people with mental health challenges in finding regular competitive jobs. Many face extra obstacles, for example due to memory or concentration problems, insecurity about their own capabilities, or cultural background. Together with clients, professionals, and organizations, we will create simple tools like conversation guides and exercises to help people express their strengths and needs. We will also provide materials for employers and support staff. These tools will be tested in everyday IPS practice. The goal is to make IPS more effective and accessible for people seeking meaningful work.

The programme focuses on rapidly moving individuals into employment and providing 12 months of ongoing support to both the employer and the employee to ensure long-term sustainment. The procurement is divided into two lots: Lot 1 for integrated welfare, benefits, and employment support, and Lot 2 for community innovation and specialist delivery. Lot 1 will be awarded to a single provider, while Lot 2 will be split among three providers. The total estimated contract value is 1,133,300 pounds including VAT, with an anticipated start date of March 2, 2027, and a fixed three-year duration with no option for extension.
