Structural Repair & Improved Accessibility at William Johnson House

This project involves structural repairs and accessibility improvements at the William Johnson House, McCallum House, and Kitchen Dependency within the Natchez National Historical Park. The scope of work includes the repair and replacement of rotting exterior porches, decks, landings, railings, and stairs. Additionally, the project requires the removal of a failed exterior lift and the installation of a protected interior lift within the McCallum House to ensure better reliability and easier maintenance. The contract also focuses on upgrading ABAAS accessible routes and ramps throughout the complex to eliminate safety hazards and preserve historic resources. These enhancements are designed to restore safe and reliable access for visitors and staff to the upper floors of the facilities. This effort is managed by the Department of the Interior under NAICS code 236220.
