UNOPS is soliciting bids under RFQ/2026/65325 for the supply and delivery of medical training equipment, specifically vaginal birthing models, breast examination trainers, and injection trainers, for the Education, Training & Research Unit of the Ministry of Health & Mass Media in Sri Lanka. This initiative is part of the Health Information Quality Improvement project funded by The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. The scope of work includes the delivery of new, unused simulators and accessories, the provision of Training of Trainers services, and technical assistance for implementing a simulator-based training program. All equipment must be 100% latex-free, use skin-safe materials, and be manufactured according to ISO 13485:2016 or ISO 9001 standards. Successful bidders must demonstrate a track record of completing at least two similar contracts within the last five years and provide a Manufacturer’s Authorization Letter if they are not the original manufacturer. Delivery is required within 10 to 12 weeks of contract signature under DAP Incoterms 2020 to the Ministry's Supply Division in Colombo 10. Packaging must meet strict requirements for internal cushioning, moisture control, and secure closures to ensure equipment integrity. Evaluation is based on technical compliance, previous experience, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
