Supply and Delivery of One (1) Van

The County of Dufferin has issued Invitation to Tender T2026 PW-26-16 for the supply and delivery of one new hybrid electric minivan. This procurement is governed by the Buy Ontario Act (Public Sector Procurement), 2025, and the Municipal Buy Ontario Procurement Directive. Due to a determination that Made-in-Ontario vehicles are not available or operationally feasible, eligibility is restricted to bidders capable of supplying vehicles from an Ontario Vehicle Producer, defined as an Original Equipment Manufacturer with at least 1,500 annualized jobs across its Ontario footprint. Bids must be submitted electronically by September 17, 2026. The selected vehicle must meet all technical specifications, including compliance with the Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Act and the Canadian Environmental Protection Act. Delivery is required within 100 days of the purchase order to the Dufferin County Primrose Operations Centre in Shelburne, Ontario, under F.O.B. Destination, Freight Prepaid terms. Evaluation is based on a financial analysis of total price, quality, service, and transition costs, and the County reserves the right to award the contract to a bidder other than the lowest cost provider. Mandatory requirements include the submission of a Buy Ontario Fleet Attestation Form and proof of insurance from a provider licensed in Ontario.
