Supply and Installation of Fencing and Gates

This Invitation to Tender (the “ITT”) is an invitation by the Durham Regional Police Service (“DRPS”) to prospective bidders to submit bids for Supply and Installation of Fencing and Gates, as further described in Section A of the ITT Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).The Work generally includes the supply and installation of perimeter fencing, pedestrian and vehicular security gates, associated site works, and integration of gate access controls with existing building power, security, and fire alarm systems at Central West (18) Division, 480 Taunton Road East, Whitby, Ontario, and the Operations Training Centre, 4060 Anderson Street, Whitby, Ontario.To be eligible for award of this contract, the bidder must not be a U.S. Business. For these purposes, a “U.S. Business” means a supplier, manufacturer or distributor of any business structure (includes a sole proprietorship, corporation or other business structure) that:has its headquarters or main office located in the United States, and has no full-time employees in Canada at the time of the applicable procurement process.Subsidiaries would be considered to have their headquarters or main office located in the United States where the business that controls them (its parent company) has its headquarters or main office in the United States.
