Supply of Custom Reactivated Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) Services

The Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority is soliciting bids for the supply of custom reactivated granular activated carbon (GAC) services. The scope of work involves the transfer of spent GAC into transport trucks, reactivation using NSF 61 certified facilities, and blending the material with re-agglomerated bituminous-based coal GAC. The contractor is responsible for testing the quality of the blend, transporting the final product to the water treatment facility in Acworth, Georgia, transferring the GAC into the containers, and providing all necessary documentation to the owner. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with evaluations based on conformity with specifications, required experience, and professional references. Bids must be submitted as separate sealed documents to the Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority in Marietta, Georgia, by 2:00 p.m. on October 1, 2026. Unsealed bids, as well as those submitted via email or facsimile, will not be considered. Questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted by September 22, 2026.
