Surface Mounted Technology (SMT) Lab Upgrades – Reflow Oven and In-Line PCB Cleaning System

The U.S. Government is conducting market research to assess the availability of responsible sources capable of supplying and installing one Vitronics Soltec Centurion CT820 Reflow Oven and one Electrovert Aquastorm 160 In-Line Printed Circuit Board Cleaning System for the Airborne Instrumentation Division’s SMT production line at Point Mugu, California. The equipment is essential for upgrading the existing SMT lab, and responses will help the Government determine the best acquisition approach. Although the anticipated contract type is a Commercial Firm-Fixed-Price and the Government expects to pursue a sole-source award to ITW EAE, all qualified vendors are invited to submit capability statements demonstrating their ability to provide equipment that meets exact technical requirements for quality, reliability, compatibility, and schedule adherence.
