Full Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. An Offer is being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is issued on a sole-source basis to ITW EAE in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.”
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Airborne Instrumentation Division (AID), has a requirement for the procurement, delivery, installation, and integration of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) line upgrade equipment. Specifically, this requirement is for one (1) Vitronics Soltec Centurion CT820 Reflow Oven and one (1) Electrovert Aquastorm 160 In-Line Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Cleaning System. All equipment delivery, installation, calibration, integration, and training requirements shall be completed within 180 calendar days after the date of contract award.
ITW EAE is the only known source capable of satisfying this requirement because it is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Vitronics Centurion and Electrovert Aquastorm systems. ITW EAE possesses the proprietary technical data, software rights, and factory-trained field service engineers required to install, integrate, calibrate, and warranty the equipment.
ITW EAE should submit its quotation for RFQ N6893626Q5150 no later than August 31, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Solicitation Module. Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 (Self) is anticipated for this requirement. If the contractor disagrees with the anticipated CMMC level, it shall provide supporting rationale and identify the recommended CMMC level.
Contractors requiring access to unclassified export-controlled technical data must possess an active Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification.
