ED PhysiciansThe Indian Health Service is forecasting a requirement for emergency department physicians to provide critical care services, with the opportunity anticipated to be posted in the future. The North American Industry Classification System code 621493 indicates this is for other outpatient care centers, specifically focusing on emergency medical services within the IHS network. The contracting action is not yet solicited and remains in a forecast phase, meaning no formal bid process has begun, but interested parties should prepare for potential opportunities later in 2026. Performance location details are unspecified, suggesting services may be needed across various IHS facilities, likely in tribal or rural communities where emergency care access is essential. Dana Cash serves as the program point of contact for questions regarding the medical services scope and operational needs, while Shelton Bruce is the designated Contracting Officer responsible for the eventual procurement process. Both can be reached via their official IHS email addresses for preliminary inquiries. The forecast does not indicate any set-aside status, meaning the opportunity is open to all qualified vendors, including small businesses, regardless of ownership or size. The lack of a solicitation number and precise performance location signals that details are still being developed, and interested parties should monitor the provided UI link for updates as the procurement moves toward an official solicitation.
