The 6th Contracting Squadron (6 CONS) at MacDill AFB issues this Sources Sought Synopsis for information only to locate sources who are capable. The 6th Force Support Squadron requests the purchase of Surveillance System Cameras. Provided in the Statement of Objectives (SOO), Attachment 1, are requirements for the installation of a comprehensive digital IP video surveillance system (VSS) that includes upgrade of existing, and installation of new equipment that connects the installation gates. This Sources Sought is an advance notice for information and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System is 334511 and the size standard is 500, unless otherwise noted. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities, and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12:00 PM local time on 21 Sep, 2012. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice.
