This contract is for the procurement of 21 pressure switches, identified by NSN 5930014384339 and part number 444-10EB21-444115 from Detroit Switch Inc, under solicitation SPE7M8-26-T-5331 issued by the Department of Defense’s Electrical Devices Division. The contract is a fixed-price, simplified acquisition with a total value of $441.00, requiring delivery of all units FOB Origin within 153 days of award, with a need ship date of December 21, 2026 and an original required delivery date of January 12, 2027. All items must be packaged and preserved in strict compliance with MIL-STD-2073-1E, using QUP 001, preservation method 31, wrap material CA, unit container D4, and pack code U, with labeling fully conforming to MIL-STD-129, including standard barcoding and no special marking. The delivery destination is the DLA Distribution New Cumberland Facility in Pennsylvania, and inspection and acceptance occur at the destination point by government personnel. The switch must not contain mercury or mercury-containing compounds unless part of an exempted functional component such as batteries, fluorescent lights, sensors, or weapon systems, and any portable mercury-containing devices must be shockproof with a secondary containment system per NAVSEA 5100-003D. The contract incorporates numerous FAR and DFARS clauses, including those on combating human trafficking, employment eligibility verification, sustainable products, hazardous material identification, cybersecurity safeguarding, and small business program representations.
