The applicable PSC is 6760, Photographic Equipment and Accessories. The proposed contract is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of AFFARS 5313.501 - 10 U.S.C. 3204(e), Implementation of Simplified Acquisition Procedures (41 U.S.C. 1901) as only one source is reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 4 days of publication of this synopsis. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Firms who seek to challenge the sole source must submit substantiating documentation that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent supply as described in the attached Salient Characteristics.
