--Synopsis of Proposed Contract Action for Procurement of Leak Tester

A sole source purchase order is expected to be awarded to Uson L.P. for the procurement of a leak tester designed for use with M100 and M295 decontamination systems. The leak tester must accommodate several sample packet sizes, operate with both constant and variable pressure settings, provide hands-free operation to minimize human error, and perform non-porous package integrity testing on large packages. It must adhere to the ASTM F2338-04 standard for non-destructive leak detection using a vacuum decay method. Delivery of the equipment is scheduled to occur within 35 days after contract award.
