Full Description
SCOPE: The Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to issue a solicitation for a new five-year, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the manufacture and delivery of the Vision Correction Assembly.

This is a non-commercial requirement to be manufactured in accordance with a Government-owned Technical Data Package (TDP). The contract will also include requirements for First Article Testing (FAT), Production Lot Testing (PLT) and other Contract Data Requirements (CDRLs).
The Government intends to award a single contract to the responsible offeror whose proposal represents the best price to the Government. This procurement will utilize Invitation for Bids procedures, detailed under FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding.
TECHNICAL DATA PACKAGE (TDP): The TDP associated with this procurement is export-controlled (Distribution Statement D) and requires special handling. To be eligible to gain access to the TDP when the solicitation is released, interested offerors must have a current and valid DD Form 2345, "Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement" certification on file with the U.S./Canada Joint Certification Office (JCO).
