AI Contract Overview
The contract solicitation SPE2DH-26-T-3801 is for the procurement of eight dental syringe kits, each consisting of a 3ML syringe and twenty-four 10-gauge blunt sterile needles, identified by NSN 6520-01-371-8377. The items must be delivered within 84 days of the order placement to either APO AE 09227-0000 or the designated military medical logistics center in Kaiserslautern, Germany, with delivery terms specifying FOB destination. Packaging and marking requirements strictly adhere to Medical Marking Standard No. 1, which supersedes MIL-STD-129 for all medical acquisitions, mandating sealed unit containers that prevent damage and commercial-grade exterior shipping containers suitable for safe, cost-effective transport. Hazard communication standards under 29 CFR 1910.1200 apply to any hazardous materials, requiring proper labeling and submission of safety data sheets before award, while radioactive material handling follows MIL-STD-129 if applicable. Compliance with FAR and DFARS clauses is mandatory, including cybersecurity safeguards under NIST SP 800-171, trafficking in persons prohibitions, employment eligibility verification, sustainable procurement, and restrictions on foreign purchases. Contractors must maintain active SAM registration, provide UEI and CAGE codes, and self-certify small business status if claiming socioeconomic advantages. All deliveries are subject to government inspection and acceptance at the destination point, with invoicing required through Wide Area WorkFlow. The solicitation allows for multiple contractual pricing lines, though complete pricing data is not fully defined, and the contract type remains unspecified pending contracting officer determination. Submission of offers must occur electronically via DIBBS by the May 18, 2026 deadline, with no physical attachments formally listed in the solicitation.
