The U.S. Navy, through the Naval Air Warfare Center Air Division, intends to sole source a purchase order for the SZX16 STEREO SCOP under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, using firm fixed-price terms and authority granted by FAR Part 13.106-1(b) to Evident Scientific, the exclusive manufacturer of the item. This procurement is non-competitive, as the equipment is only available directly from the manufacturer, and no other vendors can meet the requirement without being an authorized distributor capable of honoring the Evident Scientific warranty. All potential offerors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Responses must be submitted via email to Annie N. Bohmann no later than June 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The government will not compensate respondents for any information provided, and receipt of alternative bids does not obligate the government to compete the requirement, though such responses may influence future procurement decisions. The place of performance is in St. James, Maryland, with the office located at Patuxent River, Maryland, under the NAICS code 333310, and no set-aside provisions apply.
