The contract involves the production and delivery of 73,000 kits, each containing a brochure, 30 business reply insert cards, and one letter. The brochure measures 31-9/16 by 11-3/4 inches, printed in full-color on both sides with an overall clear aqueous coating, and folds to a 10 by 8-inch size with a 6-1/2-inch pocket at the bottom designed to hold the reply cards. The brochure paper is a white 12-point coated stock similar to Carolina Cover. The business reply cards, sized 9-1/2 by 7-1/2 inches, feature full-color printing on the front and black printing on the back, plus a clear varnish on the front. Each card is die-cut with a 6 by 1-1/2 inch rounded tab and includes a vertical perforation, printed on 7-point white stock akin to 66-lb Sappi Aero. Thirty cards are to be inserted into each brochure pocket. The letter included in the kit measures 7 by 10 inches and is printed one-sided in four-color process on white 100% rag bond paper similar to Crane Crest Fluorescent. Each letter is inserted loose inside the brochure. Copy materials will be supplied via the Wamnet System, with proofs required prior to production. All kits must be shrink-wrapped with mailable plastic wrap before delivery. Delivery is to be made at the bidder’s expense to Livonia, Michigan. Bidders are required to submit a complete bid package on their firm’s letterhead via fax before quotations will be accepted, as specifications have yet to be written.
