AI Contract Overview
The United States Marine Corps is seeking to procure Tactical Grid Expeditionary Kit systems under a brand-name requirement that mandates the use of specific Cisco Systems networking hardware including Catalyst 9300 switches and IR1835 rugged routers, along with Cases2Go custom transit cases; no substitutions or alternative brands will be accepted. This acquisition is structured as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 334220 and requires all quotes to be submitted electronically via email to Contract Specialist Nichole Dewitt no later than July 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM EST. Offerors must include a fully completed and signed SF 1449, a detailed itemized pricing breakdown covering all hardware, software licenses, and accessories, completed representations and certifications not currently active in SAM.gov, and mandatory certifications for FAR 52.204-26, DFARS 252.204-7017, and DFARS 252.204-7016. Due to the military nature of the system and its reliance on commercial information technology, strict supply chain risk evaluations are mandatory, and offerors may be required to provide documentation verifying hardware provenance and authorized reseller status to ensure security and integrity. Evaluation of proposals will be based on three key factors: price, technical capability, and past performance with supply chain risk assessment. Price will be assessed for completeness, reasonableness, and balance, while technical capability will strictly validate that the submitted equipment fully meets the mandated brand-name specifications. Past performance and risk assessment will consider the offeror’s track record of reliable delivery and their ability to demonstrate secure, uncontaminated supply chains. The award will be made to the responsible offeror presenting the best value under these criteria. Solicitation M6700126Q0100 originates from the Commanding General at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, with performance expected in Norfolk, Virginia, and all inquiries should be directed to the designated point of contact listed in the solicitation.
