The Marine Corps Recruiting Command is seeking a contractor to provide a nationwide turnkey solution for the project management, delivery, assembly, installation, and disposal of standardized, commercial-grade branded furniture. This anticipated five-year requirements contract, governed by FAR Parts 12 and 15, supports recruiting stations and substations across the continental United States, divided into five distinct Marine Corps District regions. The scope includes a wide array of office and lounge furniture, such as recruiter chairs, workstations, sofas, and file cabinets, all of which must adhere to the USMC Recruiting Facility Brand Guidelines of 2012 to ensure visual uniformity. To ensure institutional-grade quality, the government requires that all products meet BIFMA and ANSI standards for safety and ergonomics, as well as California Technical Bulletin 133 and CAL-TB117 for flammability. Strict domestic sourcing compliance is mandatory, including the Buy American Act, the Nonmanufacturer Rule, and the Berry Amendment for specific lounge items. The source selection process will feature a mandatory in-person physical display evaluation where the Technical Evaluation Board will conduct destructive and non-destructive testing of the proposed furniture. Historical spend for this requirement has ranged from approximately 169,000 dollars to 1.6 million dollars annually, with a total expenditure of over 3.2 million dollars between fiscal years 2023 and 2025.
