Talmage and Pomo MGS

Caltrans District 1 in Eureka is preparing to install new guardrail systems at two specific locations, Men-101-28.6 and Men-222-L0.5, as part of a safety enhancement initiative within the existing right of way. The project involves removing outdated guardrails and crash cushions and replacing them with updated infrastructure including concrete barrier transitions, transition railing, MGS, and terminal systems, alongside minor vegetation control and concrete work. Additional scope includes the removal and replacement of dike structures, overside drains, and other incidental elements to support the new guardrail installations.
