Tavistock Drain 1979 – The Glasgow Warehouse Inc. Minor Improvement

The Corporation of the Township of East Zorra-Tavistock has issued Request for Quotation EZT-RFQ-26-01 for the realignment of a portion of the Tavistock Drain 1979 located at 47 Hope Street East. The scope of work involves the installation of 127 meters of HDPE pipe, consisting of 95 meters of 750mm diameter and 32 meters of 375mm diameter, along with four new structures and the removal of existing pipes and structures. The project must adhere to technical drawings provided by K. Smart Associates Limited and follow specific standard specifications for drainage construction. Work is expected to commence on or around October 19, 2026, following written instruction from the township. Bids must be submitted electronically via the designated bidding portal by October 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM local time. The award will be based on the subtotal provided in the schedule of items and prices. Mandatory submission requirements include a 12,000 dollar bid deposit, a valid WSIB Certificate of Clearance, a Commercial General Liability insurance certificate, and a completed AODA Contractor Compliance Statement. Additionally, the successful contractor must provide a health and safety policy and secure performance and labour and materials payment bonds, each equal to 50 percent of the total contract price. Payment for the work will be made net 30 days following the submission of invoices.
