TC Communications - Fiber Optic Upgrade Equipment

The 42nd Operation Support Squadron, in coordination with the 42nd Communications Squadron at Maxwell AFB, Alabama, is seeking quotes for Fiber Optic Upgrade Equipment to connect Air Traffic Control radios to the existing fiber infrastructure, with fiber cabling already installed between the ATC tower and radios. This procurement is restricted exclusively to TC Communications products, specifically the TC8000 series Fiber Optic Transport and TC3800 series JumboSwitch equipment as detailed in Attachment 1, which includes defined part numbers such as the TCRM19GR-01-01 JumboSwitch Card Cage, TC3840R-5-000-1-1-05 2.5G Combo Card, and TC3846R-6-000-4-0-05 Analog Card. All equipment must be brand new, with no refurbished items permitted, and must fully conform to technical specifications and be compatible with existing ATCALS fiber runs. The solicitation is a competitive firm-fixed price delivery order under a Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5) with NAICS code 335999, and only offers from TC Communications OEMs or authorized resellers will be accepted, with resellers required to submit current authorization letters.
