TDC Garza & Nevada Exterior Door Replacements

The Tiffin Developmental Center (TDC) is soliciting quotes for the removal and replacement of exterior doors and frames at the Garza and Nevada buildings. The project requires the installation of 16 doors at the Garza building and 5 doors at the Nevada building. All replacements must be architectural, wide-style aluminum with tie rod construction and one-inch IGU glass. Specific hardware requirements include Von Duprin push bars with SFIC cores, with the Garza building requiring 15 delayed egress push bars and one standard push bar. The contract is estimated to run from December 9, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with work performed Monday through Friday between 7:00 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. Bids will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. To be considered, bidders must submit a formal quote, a completed item grid, a Standard Affirmation and Disclosure Form, and a Contractor Information Form via the OhioBuys portal. Bidders claiming Buy American, Buy Ohio, or Veteran Friendly Business Enterprise (VBE) preferences must also submit a Contractor Certification Statement Form. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, which the agency will reimburse at actual cost. All work must comply with Ohio Prevailing Wage Laws, ADA and Rehabilitation Act standards, and OSHA safety regulations, including the use of approved barricades.
