The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is seeking qualified firms, organizations, or teams to support the development of clean and resilient buildings and large-scale thermal market initiatives across New York State. The solicitation aims to establish a pool of providers capable of delivering expertise in four key categories: supply chain support, project design and development including permitting and commissioning, program design and technical support, and data collection, analysis, and measurement verification. Proposals must specify the category they address, and the top-ranked entities in each category are expected to be awarded umbrella agreements, with work awarded either directly or through mini-bid processes. The contract is anticipated to commence in early 2025, with a duration of four years and an optional two-year renewal, covering all counties in New York State. Applicants must demonstrate relevant technical, regulatory, and market expertise in one or more of the specified categories. The solicitation emphasizes inclusivity goals, although there are no set-aside preferences for minority, women, service-disabled veteran, or disadvantaged-owned businesses. The project size ranges from five million to twenty million dollars, reflecting the scope and importance of the initiatives. Interested entities are encouraged to submit proposals by September 30, 2024, with further details available on NYSERDA’s website. This initiative aligns with NYSERDA’s broader efforts to advance sustainable and resilient building practices throughout the state, fostering innovative solutions in clean energy markets.
