TELECOMMUNICATIONS ROOM UPGRADE, BUILDING 91, FLETC, GLYNCO, GA

THIS ACQUISITOIN IS 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. NAICS Code: 236220, Size Standard $31 million. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. RFP HSFLAR08R00019, Telecommunication Room Upgrade, Building 91, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Glynco, GA. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, hardware, software, tools, materials, supervision and other components necessary to engineer, furnish, install, and test the upgrade of the Telecommunication Room located in Building 91, Glynco, Georgia as identified in APC Design Solution number: ISX53025-777. The upgrade shall include, but is not limited to, the following: a. installation of a new 500kva transformer (provided by Georgia Power) to include concrete pad; b. Rerouting of the feeder line directly from the new transformer to building 91 on a new 600 amp Main Distribution Panel; c. Infrastructure InRow RC Chilled Water units to include self contained water tank (250 gallon capacity) and McQuay Model AGZ075C ton standard efficiency air cooled Chiller or equivalent (salient characteristics to be clearly defined in solicitation), to include concrete pad; d. Symmetra PX80kw Scalable 80KW n+1 with battery enclosure reconfiguration of the current equipment located in the three racks to four racks, reconfiguration of the power cables which power each of the racks; e. Diesel generator set 600Kw; f. Extension of the existing wall to the end of building 91; g. Replacement of the double doors which are located on the south end of the building. This work is located at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), Glynco, Georgia. The procurement is being solicited using Low Price Technically Acceptable methodology as outlined in FAR Part 15, with consideration of technical qualifications and price, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Criteria on which firms will be evaluated are detailed in the solicitation. The Government intends on award of a single firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation. A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for August 13, 2008, 0900. See solicitation for details.
