This procurement is for the assurance of software and hardware previously procured from the manufacturer Telestream via DMA IDIQ contract. The DMA Telestream system provides the ability to transcode audio and video products into other versions of audio and video depending on the end user requirements. The Defense Media Activity American Forces Radio and Television Service is seeking interested vendors for the procurement of annual assurance of hardware and software of the Telestream Vantage system and Caption Maker Pro software previously purchased for the DMA Enterprise worldwide. Hardware consists of Vantage servers which communicate with each other, dynamically balancing tasks and network load in a scalable array. SOURCES SOUGHT: The anticipated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 511210, with the corresponding size standard of $38.5M. This Sources Sought Synopsis is requesting responses to the following criteria ONLY from small businesses that can provide the required services under the NAICS Code. To assist DMA in making a determination regarding the level of participation by small business in any subsequent procurement that may result from this Sources Sought, you are also encouraged to provide information regarding your plans to use joint venturing (JV) or partnering to meet each of the requirements areas contained herein. This includes responses from qualified and capable Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Service Disabled-Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Women-owned Small Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses, and 8(a) companies.
